Brain fog is one of my most embarrassing symptoms of lupus. When it’s at its worst, people who don’t know me make quick judgments and treat me like I am drunk, on drugs or just stupid. And when you’re in the thick of a brain fog, it’s impossible to find the words to explain it to others.
