The Premier can dine out on semantics all he likes: but Western Australians aren’t fooled. He promised not to spend taxpayer money on the NRL, and has since put nearly $100 million in to his pet project rugby team. It’s a broken promise, and a waste of taxpayer dollars on a project which should be funded by the NRL.
