A neat thing about the Virginia Scenic Railway is that it operates on the Buckingham Branch which is still an active short line. Besides its own short line railroad, the line is also operated by CSX and Amtrak. During the downtime between runs with Norfolk & Western #611, some folks made their way to right of way to watch trains past.
