US President Donald Trump has issued a new call for peace to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Russian President Vladimir Putin, according to a press conference in the White House’s Oval Office.

More than three years after Russia invaded Ukraine and just days ahead of a three-day ceasefire declared by Russian President Vladimir Putin, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called on allies to increase their pressure on Putin to end the conflict.

According to Bloomberg’s sources, senior European officials are currently in talks with the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump to finalize a proposal for a 30-day ceasefire in Ukraine. The plan reportedly includes provisions for new sanctions on Russia if Putin refuses to make concessions.
