Searchers used helicopters, boats and drones to search for victims in flash floods that tore across Texas’s Hill Country at the start of the Fourth of July weekend.

At least 70 people, including at least 21 children, have died as a result of flash flooding in Texas after the Guadalupe River north of San Antonio flowed over its banks. The search for victims intensified June 6, as 11 children and a camp counselor remain missing from Camp Mystic, a Christian girls' camp at the river's edge.

The death toll from the devastating floods in Texas rose to at least 70 on Sunday, with 21 children confirmed among the victims, as rescue teams continued their search for several girls still missing from a summer camp.
