Two police officers were fatally shot and one deputy was wounded following an incident in Tremonton, Utah, according to police. An officer with the Tremonton Garland Police responded to a report of a disturbance at a home late Sunday night, Aug. 17, according to a news release from the Brigham Police Department obtained by USA TODAY.

Three officers were shot and injured while responding to domestic disturbance call at a residence Utah, law enforcement said. A suspect was taken into custody following the shooting, Crystal Beck, of the Brigham City Police Department, told reporters in a press conference.
