The paid subscription service will still offer them “occasionally,” but the main focus of the program will be PS5 games, and it only took almost the entirety of the current console’s life-cycle to see customer demand get there.
PlayStation Plus announces major change over PS4 games
PlayStation Plus has announced a major change to its Monthly Games and Game Catalog, with a new focus away from PS4 titles. In a new update, PlayStation noted that players had "shifted toward redeeming and accessing PS5 titles" and as such they are "evolving with this trend".
