The Pennsylvania State Police and Bensalem police had surrounded a vehicle on Route 13 near Biddles Lane. Authorities said Friday night that a police standoff with “potentially armed” individuals in a vehicle in Bucks County was over and “there is no threat to the community.”

Police in Bensalem are working with the Pennsylvania State Police to resolve a standoff that started after a car failed to comply with a traffic stop and crashed into police cars.

The 30-year-old man was shot by SWAT officers after he pointed a gun at police following a car chase and two-hour standoff at Bristol Pike near Biddles Lane, according to authorities.
