National Guard members from West Virginia, South Carolina, Mississippi and Louisiana have begun arriving in Washington.

The Trump Justice Department is investigating whether Washington, DC’s Metropolitan Police Department manipulated crime data, according to two sources.

“But I think it kind of makes the point that this is not about DC crime,” the Democratic mayor said.
