You can’t call it Venu, but a new offer from Disney’s ESPN and Fox Corp. aims to provide some of the scope of that scuttled streaming project that would have included sports offerings from those two companies, as well as Warner Bros Discovery.

The move comes as media companies look to nab more consumers for their streaming alternatives, and draw them in with sports, in particular.

The Disney-owned ESPN and Fox announced a plan on Monday to bundle their forthcoming direct-to-consumer offerings. The ESPN streaming service (just called “ESPN”) and Fox One will be offered as a bundle beginning Oct. 2. (Both platforms are set to go live on Aug. 21.)
