Two people were killed in a stabbing spree in Denver, Colo. over the weekend, including a veteran flight attendant who was on a layover in the city, officials said.

On Dec. 20, just three weeks before the 16th Street Mall stabbings, Elijah Caudill failed to appear in court for a review hearing in an unrelated criminal mischief case.

Police in Denver have arrested the suspect wanted in a series of stabbings, some of them deadly, near the 16th Street Mall over the weekend.
