Denver Health has suspended gender-affirming surgeries for minors to comply with President Trump's executive order aimed at cutting federal support for gender transitions for people under age 19.

The hospital said they won't offer gender-affirming surgeries to people under the age of 19 in an attempt to hold onto federal funding.

Denver Health in Colorado has stopped providing gender-affirming surgeries for people under age 19, a spokesperson confirmed Thursday, in order to comply with the executive order and continue receiving federal funding.
