Dallas is one Texas city the winter weather left blanketed in snow. There was also non-stop rain and sleet for hours. Neither of those stopped people from going outside to enjoy the weather. Dozens of people made their way to local parks,

The Tennessee Valley could see some of the heaviest snowfall, with 6 inches expected on Friday. A wide swath of the country is under winter weather warnings and advisories and will see impacts including "widespread closures, treacherous travel, scattered power outages, and downed branches," the weather service said.

Parts of North Texas have already seen a significant amount of snow, with more expected in the coming hours. Snow has been falling in Denton and Collin County for a decent amount of the day, while Tarrant County and Dallas County have seen less snow. Areas like Celina and Bonham saw a reported six inches of snow by 5 p.m.
