Roblox, along with other games, are encountering server issues due to a global server outage happening this Oct. 20.
A lot of people are facing the same problem today. Games like Fellowship, Palworld, and even the entire Roblox platform are down. But this time, it’s not the developers’ fault. The issue comes from an AWS outage – Amazon Web Services are currently unavailable, slow, or malfunctioning.
Games of all types, from Fortnite to Wordle to Roblox have been affected by the AWS outage and appear down for huge amounts of people today. Problems started at about 7.30am BST (that's 2.30am ET) when gamign services started having huge spikes on the outage-detecting website Downdetector.
An issue with Amazon Web Services (AWS), the ubiquitous internet hosting service, took down many of the world's most popular online games in the early hours of Monday morning. Fortnite, Roblox, and Nintendo all reported that their services were unavailable.
Amazon Web Services has broken down and that means half the internet suddenly doesn’t work, including many prominent video games and services.
