Oneida County has received $200,000 from the New York State Environmental Facilities Corporation to address sewage effluent issues from cesspools and septic systems.
An ordinance that would require triennial inspections of septic systems in a large part of St. Tammany Parish will be up for adoption at the Parish Council's next meeting.
