Dog the Bounty Hunter is going though an unimaginable tragedy after his stepgrandson, Anthony Zecca, was accidentally shot and killed by his father, Gregory Zecca. Gregory — who’s the son of Dog’s wife, Francie Frane — accidentally shot his 13-year-old son in a “freak accident” on Saturday night, TMZ reported Sunday.

On July 19, the Dog the Bounty Hunter alum's stepson allegedly shot his son, Anthony, 13, at an apartment in Naples, Fla., leading to the teenager's accidental death. Following the incident, the sheriff confirmed with PEOPLE on Monday, July 21, that the investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made.
