The Bills on Sunday released pass rusher Von Miller ahead of the league year. The move opens up $8.4 million in cap space, helping the team to get under the cap before the new league year, which starts Wednesday.

The Buffalo Bills should look to beef up their defense in 2025. One way to do that is to pull off a blockbuster trade for a $125 million superstar who recently requested to be dealt this offseason.

Miller and the Bills are reportedly open to a reunion. Since entering the league as the second overall pick in 2011, Miller has become one of the league’s top pass rushers. The DeSoto product and former Texas A&M standout has posted 129.5 sacks throughout his NFL career, currently ranking 16th on the league’s list of leaders for the statistic.
