Somehow, I always manage to leave the house in the morning with fully charged headphones, but I rarely remember to charge and bring a power bank. It's not as though the former is essential and the latter nonessential -- I need both to get through any big day out.

Many earbuds on the market feature wireless charging in the case. That's nothing new. However, I don't want to spare my precious phone battery to reverse wireless charge some earbuds. I'd rather have a functioning phone.

One of the more nifty things I saw at Mobile World Congress 2025 was HMD's nifty earbuds case. It has reverse wireless charging and even works with an iPhone.
