NEW YORK — The Yankees made a rare trade with a division rival on Sunday morning, shipping Triple-A catcher Alex Jackson to the Orioles. In exchange for Jackson, the Yankees received international signing bonus pool money and either a player to be named later or cash considerations back from Baltimore.

First-inning walks to Lindor and Alonso sandwiched Juan Soto's sacrifice bunt before Nimmo — without even finishing his swing — connected for his fourth career slam. It was his third of the season, matching a Mets record, and his third home run in four games.

The Mets will be looking to grab a Subway Series sweep and their fifth straight win in the finale at 1:40 p.m. Sunday at Citi Field.
