You can delete Facebook messages using the Facebook Messenger smartphone app, or the Facebook website.

The only way to deactivate Messenger is to deactivate your Facebook account, but you can also disable Messenger by turning off your Active Status.

I created a temporary account with windows messenger and now can't figure how to clear the account and start over. I sign up a month ago but never wrote the password down and can't get it reset.
