Chicago Bears newly hired coach Ben Johnson received the 2024 Assistant Coach of the Year award at the NFL Honors ceremony for his efforts as the Detroit Lions' offensive coordinator this past season.

In a new article by ESPN's Courtney Cronin, a team source revealed that Johnson signed a five-year, $65 million contract worth $13 million per year. That's well above what most first-time head coaches receive and speaks volumes about how badly the Bears wanted Johnson. For comparison, former Bears head coach Matt Eberflus made $6 million per year.

Speaking to CHGO Bears, Nagy was asked to share his advice for new Bears head coach Ben Johnson, who departed from the NFC North rival Detroit Lions this offseason. Nagy's message to Johnson was simple: "Win. And beat the Packers."
