Snow is causing treacherous travel conditions across Maine on Wednesday. A car crash took down some wires in South Portland during a snowstorm on Wednesday morning. The crash happened on Broadway at Lincoln Street. Police say Broadway is closed from Cash Corner to Lincoln St. Wires are down in the roadway.

Police discovered human remains in a Lewiston bog Saturday afternoon. A resident came across the remains in the Garcelon Bog at the end of Russell Street in Lewiston and contacted authorities, according to a release from Maine State Police.
