In ShopBlue, the initial Approver of a requisition will have the ability to enter an additional Approver known as an Ad-Hoc Approver. Doing so will add a step in the requisition workflow.
In general, a manually triggered ad hoc rerun enables users reacting to unforeseen problems and thus improves workflow robustness.
