The department hosted the Home Team Pet Adoption at the east and westside shelters Saturday with over 500 animals in their care looking for new homes.

The Jacksonville Humane Society is partnering with three local shelters for a free pet adoption event and festival at the Seawalk Pavilion in Jacksonville Beach this weekend.
