That has finally happened and the next version of WSL2 will automatically include and set up everything that's needed to launch and run GUI Linux apps without any intermediate steps.
That means that full GUI support for Linux apps is now coming to Windows 10. Not only will there be Linux GUI support baked in to Windows 10, but GPU hardware acceleration will also be supported.
While the WSL-based Kali Linux is undoubtedly amazing for newcomers to the cybersecurity domain, I’d suggest limiting your hacking and pen testing projects to personal devices.
