Google is preparing to bring hot water controls into the Home app, letting more of you finally ditch the Nest app.

Google Home is getting temperature scheduling for older Nest models, including the 3rd gen and Nest E. However, it is currently glitchy.

Older Nest Learning Thermostat (3rd gen) and Nest Thermostat E finally add scheduling support inside the Google Home app. Any schedules you set up in the old Nest app carry over automatically.
