September is bringing a treat for stargazers: a total lunar eclipse. If you’ve ever wanted to see the Moon turn a deep, reddish hue, Sept. 7 is your chance. Visible across Europe, Africa, Asia, and Australia, you don't need much to prepare for this kind of astronomical event, as long as it’s not too cloudy, it's easy to catch from your backyard.

Apart from India, the rare event will also be visible from parts of Europe, Africa, eastern Australia, and New Zealand tomorrow, September 7.

Skywatchers in India can anticipate a Blood Moon on September 7-8, 2025. This total lunar eclipse will last for approximately 3 hours and 28 minutes.
