Many modern printers can scan photos and documents. While your computer might work with your scanner, you'll get better results with specific apps.

Connect an Ethernet cable from the Ethernet port on your PC to the barcode scanner's Ethernet interface. Launch the SOPAS-ET software on your computer.

Connect the printer to your computer using the USB cable that came with the device. Insert the CD that came with the scanner into the optical drive. The CD contains the drivers for your scanner.
