Apple, Google, Microsoft, and Mozilla announced plans today to disable Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.0 and 1.1 support in their respective browsers in the first half of 2020.

While there are currently no known vulnerabilities in TLS 1.0 and 1.1, Microsoft plans to end support for these old protocols in supported versions of Microsoft Edge and IE 11 by 2020.

Microsoft reminded users that insecure Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.0 and 1.1 protocols will be disabled soon in future Windows releases.
