How to Add an Account to Google Authenticator You need two things: Google's authenticator app and a code from the account you want to add to the app (Facebook, Amazon, your bank, etc.).

All except Facebook (sorry, Meta), who recently told us that users can no longer authenticate via its own app (which didn't work anyway) and that we'll need a third-party authenticator.
