Massachusetts State Police and officers from multiple police departments are searching for a person suspected of robbing a jewelry store on Thursday.

A police officer in North Andover, Massachusetts shot an off-duty officer from the same department in her home Monday evening, investigators said.According to Essex County District Attorney Paul Tucker,

Armed officers and troopers were seen scouring neighborhoods and wooded areas on Thursday during a search for suspects in connection with an armed robbery. Massachusetts State Police said the crime occurred at Chickering Plaza in North Andover on Thursday morning.
