Raleigh, North Carolina, ranked No. 1 on the large cities list, took the top spot because of its strong employment conditions and robust high-tech sector. Gainesville, Georgia, which ranked first among small cities, sustained high scores across many metrics, the report said.
Midland named as 'one of best performing cities in the nation'
Midland was named as a top 15 performing city, according to a City of Midland news release. The release stated that Midland was the lone small city in Texas to receive this honor. The report added that Midland ranked within the top five of smaller cities nationally.
