Dubbed “Alligator Alcatraz,” the massive tent detention complex built deep in the Florida Everglades can hold 3,000 and could be the template for other facilities in other states.

More than a week after state legislators were denied access to Alligator Alcatraz, federal and state lawmakers were finally given a supervised tour of the controversial facility used to house suspected undocumented immigrants.
