Severance season 2 has officially begun and things have never been more mysterious at Lumon. The hit sci-fi show picks up in the wake of that nail-biting season 1 cliffhanger, but it seems we won't be getting any quick answers about what is really going on.

The first episode of Severance Season 2 is now available to stream on Apple TV Plus. There'll be 10 episodes this season, which will be released on a weekly basis -- likely leaving viewers on the edge of their seats in between airings.

This is the second major push we've seen Apple TV Plus make so far this year to draw in more subscribers. Earlier this month, Apple made the streamer free for everyone for a three-day period so that new viewers could sample "Slow Horses," "Ted Lasso," and more of the best Apple TV Plus shows.

According to director and executive producer Ben Stiller, season 3 is already in the works, and the story will continue for as long as it makes sense with the tale. "You have a responsibility to the audience that you're going somewhere with it," he told Collider in a recent interview.
