Princess Kate stepped out in London to attend a Commonwealth Day service on Monday after missing the event in 2024 due to her cancer battle.

The Princess of Wales rewore a favorite dress of hers for the occasion, a stunning candy apple-red coatdress by Catherine Walker with a big, pretty bow adorning the collar and large buttons running down the front. It was the same piece that she wore to the carol service at Westminster Abbey in December of 2021.

Last year, Princess Kate and King Charles did not attend the key royal event after they were diagnosed with cancer. The Palace announced that Charles had been diagnosed with a form of cancer back in February last year, while Kate went public with her diagnosis in a personal video message shared in March.

It’s not the first time Kate, 43, has worn the Beau Tie dress for major occasions. She wore the same dress for the Together at Christmas carol service in December 2022, and again in November 2023 for the South Korean’s president state visit.

Kate Middleton attended the Commonwealth Day Service, marking her first appearance at the event in two years after undergoing cancer treatment. Dressed in a red Catherine Walker dress, her presence signified her return to full royal duties following her remission announcement in January.
