Prince Harry has been meeting children with serious health problems at the WellChild charity awards in London - as the prince returns to the UK for a week of engagements.

Prince Harry said the world had thrown a few challenges as he made his first return to Britain in five months for a week of engagements, starting with an awards ceremony for seriously ill children.

However, on this occasion, Harry was in London for a cause very dear to his heart, the WellChild Awards.
