Since this new project is open source, the partners plan to make Scratch Blocks available to other developers, who can use it to make their own apps, games and toys for kids.

The main window is split up into sections. Broadly speaking, the bits you can use to make your programs are on the left, you make your programs in the middle, and the programs run on the right.
