WPA2 is currently the recommended password type for Wi-Fi routers, and lets you secure your network with a custom password.
I was playing around with Vista via Boot Camp, decided I didn't like it, so I nuked the drive today and reinstalled with just one OS X partition from the original DVDs that came with my Macbook Pro.
