Since 2023, Disney+ and BBC have been in a partnership producing Doctor Who. Together, they have delivered two seasons of the show and a spin-off, The War Between the Land and the Sea. But now, as Deadline reports, that partnership has come to an end.

Disney has pulled out of its Doctor Who partnership with the BBC after just two series following what critics called the show’s “woke” rebrand.

Sources have revealed that following the 2026 Christmas special, a full series could potentially air by 2027.
