General Motors has signed a multi-year, multi-billion dollar agreement for Norway's Vianode to provide the U.S. automaker with synthetic graphite anode materials for its electric vehicle batteries, the companies said on Wednesday.

GM has signed a new multi-billion dollar deal with Vianode to provide the automaker with graphite anode materials for use in General Motors' electric vehicles.

Vianode has signed a long-term framework supply agreement with General Motors for anode graphite worth several billion US dollars until 2033. The material
