The Publix supermarket chain is recalling fruit and vegetable baby food because testing found elevated levels of lead.

The product, manufactured by Bowman Andros LLC and distributed exclusively to Publix stores, was sold in 4-ounce plastic pouches.

The voluntary recall was prompted after routine testing. It is the second such recall recently of baby food over possible lead contamination.
