Israel has given a tour of a large storage site within Gaza containing what it claims to be 1,000 lorries-worth of aid that the United Nations (UN) has failed to deliver. The move on Thursday intensified a row with the international community, which has become increasingly critical of starvation levels in the Strip.

Israel said Thursday that the United Nations and other international aid agencies had restarted distribution of some humanitarian assistance to Palestinians after collecting more than 100 trucks of aid from its facilities just inside the border with Gaza.

In the scramble for sustenance, Palestinians are gunned down for no reason, with no excuse.

Prime Minister Mark Carney is calling for Israel’s control of aid distribution to be replaced amid reports of mass starvation in Gaza.

More than 100 aid organisations warned on Wednesday of “mass starvation” across Gaza, with their staff severely affected by widespread shortages. Israel is under mounting international pressure as the humanitarian crisis in the enclave worsens,

US negotiators blamed Hamas for lacking "good faith" while dozens of countries, news outlets, and humanitarian organizations all urged Israel to allow aid into Gaza without delay.

Gazans are in desperate need of essentials after more than 21 months of war, but efforts to get aid into the Palestinian territory - and to its hungry residents - face major obstacles.
