With no movement made on a long-term union between the Cowboys and Micah Parsons, ESPN’s Adam Schefter forecasts the once fruitful pairing is “headed towards divorce” after the relationship deteriorated throughout the offseason.

We are now closer to the Dallas Cowboys beginning their season than we are to Micah Parsons’ public trade request from the team. Monday marked Hump Day in that regard (the middle point) and we are now officially over it and headed downhill. Maybe in more ways than one.

ESPN's Adam Schefter provided his take on his podcast this week, sharing a pretty grim perspective on Parsons's future with the Cowboys. Schefter believes there will be a "divorce" at some point between Parsons and the Cowboys, the question right now is when and how.
