The Denver Nuggets had an ample opportunity to take control of their NBA Playoff series against the Oklahoma City Thunder. They held a lead for much of the game thanks to a monster outing from Nikola Jokic.

The Oklahoma City Thunder survived another thriller in a 112-105 Game 5 win over the Denver Nuggets on Tuesday. They now hold a 3-2 lead in their Round 2 NBA playoffs series. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the way with an efficient 31 points. Lu Dort scored an important 12 points. Jalen Williams had 18 points and nine rebounds.

The Thunder made a valiant effort to disrupt him, as they have all series. Denver’s superstar center still had 44 points and 15 rebounds on Tuesday night. He made 17 of 25 shots, with many of them closely contested.
