A woman is dead after a fire broke out Tuesday at an apartment building in Concord, New Hampshire. Crews responded just before 6:30 p.m. to the fire on Manchester Street. Callers reported that a person was trapped on the building’s second floor.

During a subsequent search of the building, firefighters found a deceased woman on the second floor. Her name is not being released at this time and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will conduct an autopsy to confirm her manner of death. No other injuries were reported.
