Two workers were injured at a Pasadena Chevron plant Wednesday afternoon after a scaffolding collapse, according to news reports. Pasadena emergency officials were not immediately available for comment on the accident.

Pasadena Fire Marshal David Brannon says the incident occurred when the men, believed to be Chevron contractors, fell approximately 25 feet from scaffolding inside the plant. One of the men sustained severe injuries and was flown to the hospital, while the other two were taken by ambulance for treatment.

Chevron Pasadena says three contractors were injured at the refinery on Wednesday. At least two of them reportedly fell off a 25-foot high scaffold and were taken to nearby hospitals.
