Sixteen products containing cucumbers sold at Kroger stores in nine states have been recalled. The Food and Drug Administration announced the recall Wednesday, May 28, as part of an ongoing investigation into cucumbers possibly contaminated with Salmonella.
Bedner Growers Inc., and distributed by Fresh Start Produce Sales Inc., due to the potential for salmonella contamination. No illnesses related to the Coastal Cos.’ products have been reported as of May 27.
