I came here almost every day just to walk through these amazing Redwoods and the peace and quiet beauty that lay ahead - trails well marked and I felt safe. So close to town and such a special place… Full review by Hotubgal

My husband is in poor health but still wants to see the redwoods in particular. we are driving from down from SF to Aptos later on a Tuesday morning. also, do either of these parks offer carts/motorized or wheel chairs? As far as I know. However, must be leashed. " Beautiful redwoods Photo by Scott Broecker #TAB##TAB# #TAB# Click to switch pictures View all 14 photos Rating: #TAB# Description: Up and down hiking through redwoods with creek crossings. Enter The Forest of Nisene Marks through a backway as shown on the map below. It's at this point where you reach the part of this state park where dogs are allowed. After about a mile on the entrance trail and a creek crossing you reach the Old Growth Loop Trail which is a great one mile loop trail through the redwoods. Other than the above area, dogs are allowed only along the entrance road and in the picnic areas and must be on a leash no longer than six feet at all times."
