Interlaken is a census-designated place in Santa Cruz County, California, United States. The population was 7,368 at the 2020 census. Interlaken is named for the town of Interlaken, Switzerland, meaning "among the lakes". Like its namesake, it is situated amongst College Lake, Pinto Lake, Kelly Lake, Lake Tynan, and Drew Lake.
